Coventry Woods Coventry Glen homes in Cary NC are adjacent neighborhoods that sit at the end of Cary Parkway where it insects with Holly Springs Road. Homes in these communities were built by Centex between 1995 and 1998, and range in price from $250,000 to $350,000. Coventry Woods & Coventry Glen are mostly made up of two story, single family homes. A smaller model would be a three bedroom with bonus room that is around 2300 square foot, to the large models that have four or five bedrooms with a bonus room and 3000+ square foot. The floor plans in Coventry Woods & Coventry Glen are typical of the mid 1990’s.

The homes usually provide both a living & family room area, with many of the homes having a cathedral ceiling in the family room area. As the needs of the buyer have changed over the past 10-15 years, the living room area is now usually converted into a main floor office and French doors are added for privacy. Many of the floor plans in Coventry Woods & Coventry Glen are bright and open, and still work well with today’s living styles.

The challenge in these communities can be finding a home that has been updated, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. White or bronze wood cabinets, brass fixtures and carpeted floors were commonplace when these were built.  However, many homeowners have installed hardwood floors over the years and installed new countertops, which makes a big difference.

On the flip side, because Coventry Woods & Coventry Glen have been established for 15 years, the neighborhood landscape is mature, which means you’ll find tall trees and more privacy behind many of the homes.  The biggest advantage is definitely the very convenient location just minutes down from all the shopping you’ll ever need,  which includes; three grocery stores,  nice strip shopping, Crossroads Plaza and Cary Town Center! Plus, close by access to Highway One and the 440 Beltline!
