Weatherstone Homes for Sale in Cary NC are similar to the Whitebridge neighborhood in that the homes were also built in the 1990’s, (1993-1998) and buyers can usually find a spacious, four bedroom plus bonus room plan on a nice sized lot with mature trees and landscape. Lots usually range from a quarter to a third of an acre. The difference is that Weatherstone is a larger community with just over 200 homes that were built by local, custom builders. The community also has a higher price point with a range from $350,000 up to $500,000.

The floor plans are the typical transitional plans that builder’s offered in the 1990’s, usually having a separate living & family room and high ceilings. The living room is most commonly now used as a main floor office, and closed off with French doors. White or Oak Cabinets & brass fixtures are also commonly found, but many of the homes have been updated with hardwood floors, granite counters, tile bathrooms and the fixtures needed to compete at this price level and in today’s competitive market! There is a nice selection of home styles in Weatherstone, which adds character to the community, plus, many of the homes have brick on the exterior which is getting harder to find on the newer homes.

Buyers mainly choose Weatherstone because it is truly a beautiful community just outside of Preston, and is close to great amenities like Bond Park, along with being right by nice strip shopping and restaurants! The Wake County Public Schools that serve Weatherstone are very good, and you also have one of the finest private schools in Cary, NC right next door, which is St Michael. The community does provide a nice swimming pool & tennis courts as well to finish off this wonderful, Cary community!
