Whitehart Homes for Sale in Apex NC are easily described as a neighborhood with lots of character and charm! Started back in the late 1990’s, and selling quickly over a four year period, Whitehart real estate is in a class by itself. You’ll find spacious lots and southern contemporary homes styles, many with front porches! It is also one of those places that are just beautiful to drive through because of how all the residents keep their home and landscape looking good, plus the developer had kept a good portion of natural space throughout the development.

Prices in Whitehart are fairly consistent in the $300’s, for three and four bedroom homes that provide 2200-2700 square foot on average. Many of the three bedroom homes do have a bonus room over the garage that could easily be a fourth bedroom. Because many of the homes were constructed by custom builders, you will see more upgraded features not found in neighboring communities. Most of the floor plans are open, and will be worth updating in the years to come because of the quality setting.

Whitehart is also a very social place where things such as “trick or treating” at Halloween are a big, fun events!  The neighborhood provides a large swimming pool and bathhouse, along with a community pond. You almost get a “small town” feel when living there, and many residents have told me they made great friends at a time when they were new to the area and didn’t know a sole!

Like many southern Wake communities with no city taxes, the homes in Whitehart are on a septic tank, but, a community well provides the water vs. a private well for each property. The community well is a managed utility by Aqua Water, who manages most of the community wells in the region. People often ask me what the difference is being on well & septic vs. city water & sewer, and frankly, you’ll probably never notice any difference!

Oaklyn is the sister community connected to Whitehart that is comprised of only 39 homes and started five years earlier in 1993. Both neighborhoods also have the advantage of being convenient to lots of newer shopping, most of which has been developed over the past five years!
